This feature is indeed a boon for the people of the countries suffering from slow internet speed but it may also have some negative side like you may need a big storage or suffer from time and again running down of storage capacity, there may occur a bit of problems of copyright issues and also there may be some issues with the ISP as Offline feature helps to reduce your data charge. What is YouTube offline feature?

YouTube offline feature let you to watch YouTube videos even without internet connection and buffering. Actually this feature stores any video that you like in your device so that you can watch them later on without any internet connection and indeed there will be no buffering.

How can you use this feature?

You can use this feature from the latest version of YouTube app (10.0+ in Android and 2.16+ in iOS). If you have the old version update quickly to use this feature. After you have your appropriate YouTube application, just touch the Add to Offline icon:present below the video or select Add to Offline from the video’s context menu to get started. Keep in mind that, to use this feature you need to be singed-in. After you have made a YouTube video offline, you will see an offline icon below the video once it has been added to offline. To access the video or playlist that you have made offline you need to go to offline section under menu.

 In this offline section you will find all the video or playlist that you have made offline. In this way you can easily access any video anywhere, anytime free of cost and most pleasant without buffering.

For now there are majority of videos present in the YouTube app for Offlining but still you can find some videos that cannot be made offline and such videos are marked with icon
