The trend of hacking is increasing in Nepal due to weak cyber security and cyber law. Most of the web developers do spend much time to secure the websites they have created resulting a great hack. Furthermore many governmental websites of Nepal still exist with massive security flaws which can result in confidential data loss. Most of the Nepali websites are targeted by international hackers and few Nepali hackers are also responsible for intesive hacking. Heeding the trend I have created the list of top 5 hackers in Nepal.

5. Team Swastika

               Team Swastika went bit popular when the news hit that they had hacked 10K Facebook accounts but later on after cross check by the experts, they found that the hack was just a mock and most of the accounts were either dead or previously publicized by other hackers. However this group is still active through their Facebook and website where you can find some of their works.

4. Bkthactivist

               This hacker or hackers are from Bhaktapur but the identity is still anonymous. We cannot find them much active nowadays but they are accused of hacking many Nepali websites like majdoor[.com.np], shakerdevcampus[.com.np] and many other websites. There is a wide list of the websites they have hacked and most of the details are publicized through their YouTube channel. The main motto of this group is to eradicate the caste discrimination and all sorts of discrimination from the Bhaktapur by making people heed their presence.

3. Ardha Pagal( Half Mad)

               A young Nepali Hacktivist popularly known as Ardha Pagal meaning half  mad mainly due to his peculiar behavior. This man was featured in an article by Softpedia as young Nepali Hacktivist. You can find his entire interview in Softpedia so check it out. Currently he is not much active but you can also follow him on twitter. He got into hacking due to his extreme desire to hack his crush’s Facebook account and later with his own effort he got into deep hacking. His identity is still anonymous.

4. Noob

               Noob is a white hat hacker whose identity is still anonymous and it has disclosed many issues in popular Nepali websites. We can see their work through their blog. They are bit active and working to locate many flaws in Nepali websites. They also recommend the security patched to the web developers and can help you if you have any problems related to web development so feel free to contact them.

5. Opnep

               Very popular and active hacking group of Nepal. The noticeable work done by them is the success in hacking the website of former prime minister of Nepal Dr. Babu Ram Bhattrai. They have their own Facebook page where they share their works and interact with the public. This anonymous group also have their own YouTube channel where they leave message for the Nepali government and people. The main motto of this group is to eradicate all sorts of corruption surviving in Nepali Government and also to establish a secure and well developed web environment in Nepal.
